Its Magic

The other stand out highlight goal of the season (apart from Wes Burns Brazilian special)  was the Sarmiento 97th minute goal – the last kick off the game against Southampton when it seemed the opportunity has gone.

Sarmiento fumbled the first attempt but managed to stand up again and poke the ball into the corner of the net with his other foot. It was such an important win and in hindsight probably made automatic promotion possible.

As I walked out of the ground I could hear some of the fans singing the Pilot song ‘Its Magic’ adding in his surname. It certainly was magic.
