A Wolf in Paris

Fanfare / 5th November, 2022

Wonderful birthday evening in a beautiful Parisian setting with my family .

Wolf alice delivered.

Shimmering guitars.

The bass has a permanent place throughout but  warmth and energy from both musicians licks over the symphony. Ellie has a soft but powerful voice which is but wide ranging – she looks a waif rather than wolf like!. She moved upstairs and sang from the balcony with her family  & finished on stage with Don’t delete the Kisses Stand out for me was Feeling Myself

The album Blue weekend is outstanding – a masterpiece with it’s opening illusion to Macbeth’s 3 witches a piece of inspired ingenuity.
