A Tribute from Oz

The Australian Pink Floyd tribute band turned back the years as Wish You Were Here kicked off proceedings painted onto a canvas in front of our eyes at the Ipswich Regent.

Very enjoyable – a full house delighted with a rendition of the finest progressive rock music which ebbed and flows like an ocean tide. Guitar work offset with super brass and trio of beauties applying the tonal notes and a marvellous solo sequence on Great Gig in the Sky.

Relentless and thoughtful – certainly a fat cigar moment to sit back back and enjoyed an era when music was always seemed more orchestral in terms of execution  Second half was brought to a conclusion with a delicious rendition of Comfortably Numb   This was certainly tribute band working at a higher level plus a great light show.
