Scorpions Stone Fest*

The Scorpions still impress and go too often under the radar. Both Fawkes & Forte saw them may years ago at the Gaumont on the Blackout tour with Schenker playing madly in a cage that I seem to remember came up thru the floor.  I found a note about the tickets from my mum in the loft recently- she paid the princely sum of £4 each!

These guys can still deliver piecing guitar solos and though Klaus cannot hit all the notes they are consummate professionals.We loved  Coast to Coast as the guitar trio all lined up at the end of the catwalk to deliver in synchronicity  .. wow

We enjoyed Motorhhead drummer hoisted into the heavens and deliver a set piece in memory of Lemmy of Overkill.

And of course a finish to die for including Rock You Like A Hurricane …
