Genesis & Phil Collins.. A Sad Farewell*

Fanfare / 24th March, 2022

Genesis with the powerhouse of Rutherford & Banks can still deliver musically, but a sad farewell to see such powerful personality in Phil Collins, who had such joie de vivre and a force of nature on stage pulled down to a state of compressed inactivity.

The only saving grace was Phil can still sing even from a wheel chair, but not with the same flair and velocity and of course no drumming or ending duet of the wonderful charismatic and echoing Los Endos.

A nice touch that his son, Nic was omnipresent on the drums.

I prefer to remember him as he was …. creating magical illusions -like Carpet Crawlers.
