Great day at the Newmarket Night races with winners and places: Lakers romping home and Profit Refused was a runner up – so we came out ahead.
We arrived late but no matter enjoyed picnic in the car park before catching the horses a jumping!

Ashcroft was excellent showman – crowd pleaser with great backing team.
Break the Night with Colour stood out with shimmering guitar work like a studio session. His new track Lover had firm glance to Joan Armatrading’s opener on Love & Affection with the ohh’s and the ahhs. The finish was of course Bitter Sweet Symphony which had everybody rocking. Fab night out
