Kings Drive On

Fanfare / 22nd June, 2024

A venue, Utilita Birmingham, I had never been to right in the heart of the city where a cluster of canals all converge on the venue.

The band is named after grandfather Leon – it is very much a family affair 3 brothers and a cousin!! Lead by lead singer, Caleb they thumped through a heavyweight canon and left nothing unsaid.

Clearly Sex on Fire is a crowd pleaser, but Manhattan, Revelry, Pryo, Molly Chambers all followed and set was closed with a superbly evocative Closer
So what was left, only Use Somebody as the encore !

All excellent.
