Latitude Festivities

We went for the day as J made it very clear she had to see Kasabian ( I have been lucky enough to encounter the Leicester band before) as a result we missed ticking off Duran Duran.

However, no matter, it was a good day out once we had walked the couple of miles to get in!!

Tamsyn Kelly  comedian – blue would not describe it – just dreadful

Frank Turner – dull

Damian Lewis -worthy but his acting prowess gives licence for a rock option as second fiddle.  I liked the Kim Philby umbrella illusion

Brown Horse – Sunrise tent they stepped up – were late addition

Vaccines – stomp but not my kind of stomp

BC Camplight J favourite melancholy – left with me fixated on Kicking up a Fuss

Willie J Healey – nothing I can remember

Bailey Rae stand out performance especially show stopper Feel it

Goldfraff shimmered

Kasabian -we sent off before GF ended and managed to get front of house -close to the stage, but not too close so we were not dragged into the youth pogoing routine that developed. Serge played the bouncing pugilist in blue outfit with Kermit green boots ! he was On Fire. Good gig but not great as bass was over powering.

Jazz alcove on the way out – venue felt dead

Thumper – in trailer park we waited too long for a sound check for an act that which was a laden heavy noised whalloper  – Stayed for 4/5 songs – nothing of merit to keep us longer- we left to find a very unlit and long walk back to the day car park . Finally Back home around 3am
