Tina Delivers

Clever set designed that makes maximum use of the small stage area at the Aldwych,  with a seamless rotating floor and various floor sections that collapse to allow doors and backdrops to be ushered in vertically as the narrative develops. Doors are particularly effective as a metaphor for a change of place and geography. Each scene gently moves the story onward and is neatly intersected with the songs, either as solos, duets or full ensemble which works very effectively.

Tina – (Zelma Bullock) was outstanding, not alone did she convey the Tina glamour and moves, but the last full on finale of numbers especially showcased her craft, with marvellous team choreography, and full band backing including brass – produced a standing ovation from the audience. A knock out feel good show
