Finally, end if year surprise was Thriller musical package. Running for several years but revamped it was superb with a mix of main singers, stunning outfits and amazingly athletic choreographed scenes. Very worthy – we all enjoyed the Michael Jackson ride including Mum.

Joan Armatrading had fun with the audience – but with no live backing it felt a little bare and first half devoted to new album ‘Not Too Far Away’. Second half some favourites, but for me lacked bite and set so choreographed that when guitar out of tune song was simply not played !
Great fun enjoyed by all.

B turned into a serial horse winner and the Vamps skipped through their greatest hits to the enjoyment of many of the women in the crowd !
