Well, what a final an absolute master class provided by the 2 most aggressive players ever seen on grass in any generation. Impossible to write the script, just a shade under 5 hours and 5 sets later, with match points on the way before a tie breaker at 12-12 in the final set, settled the matter and ensured that defending champion Novak Djokovic stole the bragging rights.

Joker was not loved by the crowd – we sat amidst a big gaggle of Federer supporters cheering every Feds winner. I was willing the Joker on. in the end no-one really deserved to lose.
