Best Bar Snacks !
The British Larder just outside Woodbridge has been shortlisted for best bar snack in Britain for its salt beef Scotch egg which is cooked to order.
The brisket is cured on site, flaked down and mixed with sausage meat and served with horseradish. Sounds very yummy – will have to check it out ! We visited just before Christmas so pleased to see the bar is still set so high.

The British Larder
No Rush…
A treat in store but you need time to enjoy Le Lunch as flavours bustle and muster in the mouth and like a good wine need to be savoured! I enjoyed a starter of Trout gravalax followed by roasted Blaxhall Venison loin , Venison shoulder croquette butternut squash and bacon. Yum yum. My companions were clean plate merchants too!
Rounded off with Cappuccino and an Amaretto served chilled with large chunks of ice.
More please!
